We all know it takes more than just talent, so what else does it take? And, how do you develop it?

Playing Pro, or Planning to Get There?

Whether you’re currently playing, or you are aspiring to play one day in the future, there is more that you can do right now. Every day is full of the potential to take advantage of the moment you are in and set yourself up for even more success in the future. Don’t miss the opportunity!

Current Pros

Like you I spent all my time focusing on the moment I was in getting paid to play the game I loved. I don’t remember ever thinking about the time when my career would end. There were moments I was out of contract, or injured and feared the worst, but I never planned those next steps. I also never fully took advantage of a moment in my life where people highly respected and admired me as a public figure. You can learn from my missed opportunities. You can use your personal brand to get more out of your current career, to build business partnerships, deeper relationships with your fans, impact your community around you, and ultimately prepare for life beyond footy, so that your transition can be much smoother than mine was. I created the Postur Training Camp for players in your situation, who are aware enough to invest in themselves and their long term success.

Future Pros

No doubt you are spending every waking moment thinking about football, and training incredibly hard to improve your skills and understanding of the game. Most youth soccer environments however, are not addressing the need to develop in personality, emotional intelligence, mental strength, and above all in self-awareness. They will ask you to be more of a leader, to react better to moments of adversity, or to develop better habits, but they do not teach you how to do it, or spend the needed time with you in order to guide you along that journey. And the truth is it’s not a one size fits all sorta thing. It is a personal journey, and you do not need to do it alone. That is why I have created the Young Footballers Empowerment Program for players aged 12-18. This will give you the foundation you need to truly succeed at the higher level.
